These cars were made 1995-2006 ish I'm sure the part number has been superseded a few times over 10 + years.

You could be really really nice to Crasher and ask him, he has a computing machine with parts numbers and reference numbers on it. He's an expert. :notworthy It's probably possible to repair it with new brake hose but that's hard to get by the foot now.

Thanks for your reply
Dont think i can pm him, dont have enough posts yet, could you possibly shoot the number 8d2721465 over to him and see what his computing machine says, i'd be very grateful :D

Take it off, remove rubber pipes, flare metal ends and use hydraulic pipe and jubilee clips. Or a breakers used one...

Engine # is AFN117955
Been on to all the local breakers they tend to cut the hoses to get the gearboxes out
None of those links actually link to a part you can buy unless i'm being stupid?

There are at least 3 ways of dealing with this as it is obsolete everywhere. You could to get one made up using Kunifer pipe and a flexible double female ended brake hose just as you would if making a brake pipe and this should not be too hard for an experienced mechanic.
Secondly you could use the later pipe 8E2 721 465, cut the fast fit ends off, fit flare nuts and then flare the ends or you could convert the car to the late hose using master cylinder 8E2 721 401 AD, pipe 8E2 721 465 and slave cylinder 8E0 721 257 M with bracket 8E1 721 487 B but that method cost £314 in genuine parts.

Thanks everyone, went trekking round the scrappies with the mechanic today and found one, cost me £1 :)
Probly cost me £50 in labour for him to drive there spend an hour or so removing it and driving back but he is fitting as i type so fingers crossed should have it back tomorrow :o
