Engine managment system warning light flashing

Hello All I run a 2009 Volkswagen passet diesel saloon highline automatic .
Three weeks back during a long run and being stuck In traffic , all of a sudden my yellow
engine management warning light started flashing my car lost power and as I pressed the
accelerator the revs went very high but the car was hardly moving , I soon gained speed and after
I stopped for food and restarted the engine the waning light did o come back and since then have
driven a few hundred miles with no problem until tonight when same thing happen ut again as gone
back off . Am wondering if you guys can help .

Hello All , Had my Autoscan carried out , they found something internally wrong with the turbo , and its a fixed fault .
cost of repair £288inc vat . Oh well .
