How to find how many liters fuel left in fuel tank?

Does anyone know how to find real liters fuel left in fuel tank? will vcds help?
Chris mentioned once before about recording the liters fuel in A3.

Can I ask why you want to know?

I do know when I had the fuel gauge fail issue last year and ran out the RAC man bought 15l of fuel, as said that it takes over 10 to reprime the fuel system.

I also know that I can squeeze 84l in my quattro if I'm careful.

I messed up with coding in vcds 17 instrument cluster, fuel gauge was 1/4 fuel in tank and it changed to half tank after wrong coding..

VCDS logs all changes made, go into the program directory (VCDS, Debug, Logs, CodingLog) and you'll find the original.
