A6 2.0tdi s line 2014 Steering poor

Anyone out there with latest shape A6 having issues with poor steering. Lack of feel and progression, certainly not as good a earlier A6.
Despite driver assist don't like the feel at all. Tend to believe Audi have replaced with fully electric power steering in order to reduce the Co2 figures. This being inferior to the steering on earlier cars.

Lots on here about steering feel, do a search. Audi have supposedly offered many different software updates but so far none seem to have fully solved the issue. That said on my 2012 (MY13) A6 Avant (with a steering sw update in April 2014) I do not have a problem with it. You mention earlier A6, is this an earlier C7 or an easrleir platform altogether?

No previous 59 plate Se, great car and now somewhat disappointed with my new 63 plate. Feel as though I need to pay more attention to steering the car than
before. Not as relaxed or comfortable.

Now done 2000 miles and car has been into AUDI with no faults found. Not getting used to it, as Audi implied I will. I can see this car has to go but fear this applies to all newish cars. Certainly will not be looking a AUDI after 15 years and purchasing 5 new or near new vehicles
