Hi folks,

Picked up my A6 Avant S Line Ultra on Friday (will review soon) and took it to get the back windows tinted yesterday.

All was fine until I tried to open my boot last night with the key fob, however it wouldn't open. Then after opening it manually, loads of water came flooding out of the plastic bit that houses the lights etc. Then the button to close it automatically wouldn't work.

Any ideas if it will just need dried out, or does it sound like a job for the Audi garage? Going to contact the company that done the tints to let them know and to see if they have came across that before.

Cheers

Blair

Not your problem, its Audi's just take it back and get it fixed under warranty. No one here will have a clue!

What if they open it up though and find loads of water? Will that not nullify any warranty work as obviously it was the company that fitted the tints that have created the problem.

Take it back and find out. Only way to know isn't it.

What happened on this? I ask because my (second hand) A6 has water in the tailgate, I can hear it sloshing when I open/close it :-(. Everything works for now though. Not sure where it is......it might be in the lights.
