I've overhauled a brake caliper that was giving me some trouble.

Stripped it down then cleaned, painted then cured, then new seals and piston fitted and pressure tested. (Some photos below of before during and after if anyone is interested)

I'd like to fit a new bleed nipple before putting it back on the car but I can't get an exact match using thread gauges I have here.
Does anyone know the right size I need?

It is an ATE front Caliper off a '02 3.0 Quattro
Piston is 57mm
Bleed valve is 30mm in length

I think I've got it now, its a Fine Metric thread M10, 1 mm between threads so that explains why I couldn't get a good fit with the metric gauge.

Ordered them now so I'll have the car back on the road when I finish up at work in just over a week.
