VAG Specialist in Bolton - Turbo maybe going

Need to get my turbo looked at. Dealers said its whistling, and I'm experiencing a high pitch whirring noise (not that loud and no loss of power)

Dealer quoted £1400

Looking for a VAG Specialist in Bolton - any suggestions?

Google came up with VAGBolton (VAGBolton.com). Anyone use them? What can i expect to pay at a VAG Specialist?

I had mine done down south last year as part of a bigger job so can't recall the cost but I went for a reconditioned turbo from Midland turbos that was done by an Indy. It meant waiting for a few more days bit as my oil pump had gone bang too it didn't matter.

The recon unit probably saved me £400 over oem New. I think they're Garretts.
