Types of bulbs

is there a list of bulb types for the A6. 57 2.7 tdi se, one of the side lights has gone & sick of the warning on DIS, but would also like to know what bulbs are on the car, it has Xenons if that is any use?

Xenon beam is D2S, sidelight/drl should be listed in the handbook.

Maybe do a search as it's all been done before :)

Edit - a search brought up that the drl/sidelight is p21w.

Can I put LED'S in the DRL'S / SIDELIGHTS or will this show up a fault?

Fit canbus friendly bulbs and it won't throw an error.

I can recommend EM Tuning for bulbs.

Although many canbus friendly bulbs do throw errors or "pulse" when switched off.

I've abandoned LEDs for DRLs and sidelights after having tried twice. But I do have some supposed "white" P21W bulbs just arrived I'll be trying. They do look a bit Max Power blue but I'll see what they're like on.
