Rear number plate fuse

What year is the car and is it a saloon or avant?

I think the number plate lights are controlled through the convenience control unit and not independently fused looking at the official diagram?

2007 saloon, looked in the search and there seems to be some mention of a poor earth, so will check that out. do you know if it will cause any issues if I put LED festoons back instead of filament??

Fit the OEM LED units. Look much better IMO and come with a warranty.
