A4 avant in car stero info needed please!!?

I have a 55 plate A4 avant s line. I have the standard audi concert cd stereo with the A/C unit below.

Im after information if i can get a complete unit to replace the stereo and A/C unit? A unit that will have a touch screen for sat nav - radio - cd etc etc? But this unit also controls all the A/C - windscreen blower, back screen controls etc etc? Does this make sense?

Im basically after an upgrade.....is there a touch screen compatable that will control everything that its replacing?

sorry if this is a ridicolous thread, as i know nothing about this kind of thing.

Not possible, theres nothing out there which will control AC. You can get headunits which incorporate nav, radio, cd, iPod and so forth but nothing which controls the AC.

You don't state which headunit (din size) you have fitted so can't advise on any to consider.

I think yours will be like mine, currently you've got a single din and theres a slow under your AC controls?

The cars with double din units just move the AC controls to the bottom and you loose that storage area.

yea i have a single cd/radio unit, AC unit below it, then a stow area below that. Can the AC unit move down? And you put a double cd/radio unit in?

is that possible?

is it best to go to Audi and ask them?
