A4 2003 aircon problems

Audi A4 2003 1.9 TDI .Economy (ECO) EC light on the climate control panel stays on so the air condition is not working, the air condition fan is not moving. Is anyone knows this problem?????

You need a fault code scan. Is there gas in the system?

The permenant ECON light means the system has detected a fault with the aircon. The only way to be sure what the problem is is to do a scan using VCDS or similar. Likely candidates are low on gas or failed pressure sensor on the condenser. Pressure sensor you can change yourself (it has a schrader type valve to stop the gas escaping when you unscrew it), regas obviously is an Aircon specialist job (who should check for leaks at the same time).
