a little help required for a newbie

Hope that someone can help! - So I picked up my A6 avant on Saturday and am loving it BUT am a little dissapointed that I can't play my ipod or any music via bluetooth even though the phone works with bluetooth! 24652 software as per pic - sorry it all got a bit out of wac there! It seem odd that such a nice car doesn't have an ami cable is there anything I can do? appreciate any help you can give

Do you have Audi Music Interface fitted in the glovebox? Or check the Source menu when you press Media.

If AMI is fitted you can fit one of these ViseeO Tune2Air A2DP - WMA1000 | Advanced In Car Technologies (http://www.advanced-incar.co.uk/audi-a1-factory-kit-oem/viseeo-wma-1000-tune2air) to the end of the iPod cable and then you'll get streaming.

If AMI is not fitted, you'll need to fit that also.

Hi Chris. Thanks for the reply - nothing in the glove box other than the map software dvd/cd, a CD multichanger and two sd card slots! is it an easy fix? expensive? How do I find out what MMI i have?

You have 3G fitted.

VCDS? is that a dealer thing? and is it something that I could install? sorry for all the questions!!

Diagnostic for VAG vehicles, Audi won't do it. Look at the VCDS User Map in my signature for users nearby.
