Hi everyone,

We have a4 b8 2008, with MMI 2g onboard.
After pressing TEL button the message pops up that telephone is not installed and I already know, that bluetooth box is not present in the car.

Because a new and original one is quite expensive, I was wondering if it's possible to connect any external brand handsfree like Parrot or Nokia to existing mmi.
I only know, that there should be a microphone next to the ceiling lamp, but where the cable ends, have no idea..

Maybe someone could help me out and post a link where I could find any instruction 'how to'.

thanks for suggestions.

Hold out for the original Bluetooth, it works far better than any parrot or Nokia phone kit. When I'm home later I'll have a look and see what's about.

But to be honest, I don't know where to find a place to mount it (under the passenger seat?), and as far as I know, I'd need to install an additionl drivers to the modul and I totally don't know how to do it.
It just seems to be a bit complicated and expensive..

Chris, do You possibly know where this bluetooth is mounted in the a4 b8 ? is it under the seat fastened to its bottom, or it's under the floor ?

I have such lid with Audi GSM inscription, and there're two cables:
