A4 B7 Avant, model specific

Hi All, a quick question that is causing me some grief. I own an A4 Avant Sline B7; i am looking into getting a new front end grill. My problem is i don't know if i have the 2004 - 2008 or the 2005 - 2008 model? My log book has the following detail:

Variant: ABLBF1
Version: FM6XA0R8E700GGP

Anyone able to decipher these numbers?

What are the 2 digits after WAUZZZ8E in your VIN?

So your car is a 2006 model. The B7 never got a facelift as it was really a facelift of the B6 so should be all the same.

The 04-08 and 05-08 you're seeing is probably saloon and avant variants.

I'm not sure it is; sorry for persevering but I'm afraid in case i buy the wrong one. Check out the link below; this grill fits the 04-08 Avant but not the 05-08 Avant. I suppose it's possible eBay have it wrong; i just can't see what the difference is between the 04-08 B7 avant and the 05-08 B7 Avant?

Why not take yours off and look at the part number on the grille? Then you would be getting the right one.

I'm actually looking to get the Honeycomb black grill for the Sline; I'm just concerned in case what i order doesn't fit. I guess I'll only buy from someone with a decent returns policy.
Just baffles me what the difference could be! if i ever find out i will be sure to let you all know!
