Hi everyone!
This is my first post on the forum, and I've joined mainly for help on this question alone... But after having a quick browse through the forums, I'm sure I could learn a lot more than what I first signed up for, and make my B5 estate the car I want it to be :)
I currently have the standard 'Concert' head unit in place, but would like to replace it for a fancy 'Double din' 7" touchscreen jobby if possible. But with the space Being minimal from the Air conditioning controls up to the hazard light switch I'm wondering how this could be done?
I've seen tonnes of Backing plate & fascia conversion kits on the web tonight, but none specifically for my car (1999/B5 A4 Avant Tdi Estate) and knowing my luck ill order one of these 'Metra installation kits' that I have seen and it wouldn't fit.
I'd be extremely grateful if someone could point me towards anything that might be able to help in my search :) Even if its an old forum post that Ive missed asking the same question...
Thanks for reading,
Liam.
