egr wiring connector

hi, took egr valve off today and gave it a clean, i've ordered a new cos its constantly throwing up errors on vag com and randomly going in to limp mode. thing is, when unclipping the wiring connector i broke the little lug that holds it in place.( why do they make them soooo fiddly:aargh4:)

my question is this, is it easy to replace or repair. at the minute its held with 2 tie wraps wrapped around the dipstick pipe to keep it in place.

The connectors are easy to replace you just need the correct pin tool to get the pins out, some are special shaped and some are just a small flat blade.

The connectors are available to order from Audi/VW.

The facelift no is 1J0 973 713 G for the housing.

Your plug housing may be another no as you have not posted your engine code up or year.
