Hi guys

apols if this has been covered but I can't seem to get a definitive answer

i have a 2003 allroad which I have replaced my rns-d with a 2010 rns-e unit part number 4b0035192p hardware version H99 software version 650

the unit is installed as per this guide http://www.f1computers.force9.co.uk/Downloads_Audi/RNS.pdf but this is for a symphony unit

the wiring for can h and can l is already in place for both connectors

the problem I am having is that the unit won't power off or on using the ignition. I have to manually power the unit off and on. Also the buttons on the unit don't light up at night and I don't get any information from the rns-e on the DIS

any one got any ideas?

thanks

That's a bit unusual being such a late model but you need a can bus adapter/simulator...
