Hi iv not been on here since my poor old bora 150 TDi meet a very sad end thanks to a crazy old lady, well to the point im looking at going back to a VW but this time a 2007 (B6) 170PD TDi DSG SEL semi auto passat but knowing me i wont leave it standard very long, so before i buy is this a good model to tune up as in EGR delete, DPF removel (if there is one), remap and maybe other stuff later on, but for now is this a good model to go for and is it good to tune????

DPF removel (if there is one)
There is a DPF, but wouldn't removing it mean an automatic MOT fail? DPF removal: the facts - Telegraph (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/motoring/10573720/DPF-removal-the-facts.html)

Also...
Check if the DSG box would cope with the extra torque..
With regards with the DPF removal there are few on here if had this done by removing the insides only with software changes to the ecu which will pass the mot..
just google it..
Did read sometime ago on here who had this done with the same engine with great results..
