Cheers guys, my old tryes finally wore out to give me an excuse to get new wheels. Barely any difference in ride quality either.

Original type of wheel size was?
New type of wheel inc size is?
Old rubber was?
New Rubber is?
Only ask as there'll be little/no difference if staying the same size! :)

Old was 8.5j X 19" ET43(I think) with 255/35 rubber.
New size is 9j X 20" ET45 with 255/30 rubber

Wow 20's! have seen a C7 BiT on 21's and thought it looked quite, erm...purposeful
Are they a chrome finish, how much they set you back and where'd you get from?

OP didn't state the brand, you can buy cheapies even at that size for around £400 all round...like these:
2x SUMMER TYRE Nankang NS-2 255/30 ZR20 92Y XL with MFS BSW | eBay (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2x-SUMMER-TYRE-Nankang-NS-2-255-30-ZR20-92Y-XL-with-MFS-BSW-/151149354900?pt=UK_Cars_Tyres_RL&hash=item2331341f94)

I concur, they are the most important thing between you and the road... why would you buy cheap tyres?!
Yes, the 19" Pirelli's on my A6 are expensive, but they do exactly what they should do!

I agree, I don't get people who buy expensive cars/wheels then get a shock when they need to replace a tyre!
I'd rather put part worn premiums on than new Chinese ones.

They are called Riva HMC from a place in Manchester. They're difficult to get hold of in 20s, most placed only do 19s. I would describe them as being shadow chrome I think but they're not that as dark in real life.
The tyres are budget I must admit but the best of the budget being Accelera. They get mixed reviews like most tyres that are not premium but most of my driving is on motorways. The wet grip and traction seem ok, much better than the rubbish tyres that Audi put on it (Marangoni).
Cost me £1,200 as a package.
