Full Geometry Check and Adjust

Having replaced the rear suspension struts and unfortunately disturbing the camber adjustment at the back, I needed to get the rear camber set correctly. Audi wanted £300! to do the work, moving swiftly on, Kwik Fit in Gainsborough have just recently had the required laser alignment equipment installed (apparently cost north of £75k), a quick call to them £65 to check and adjust all of the geometry. Turned at the allotted hour, straight in and in the reception area they have a remote display from the machine. Lots of it was in red so needed adjusting all done very efficiently at a competitive price.

Very satisfied.

lol did you have a full tank of fuel?

you must have a full tank and checked and adjusted within the hour..... no chance rear camber is a bugger to set up as the access is limited then once the rear camber and tow is corrected the front will no doubt be out so front camber is a mare to get in and its always nsf that's out with final front tow

the amount of fleet referrals sent to dealers from kwickfit is shocking, they dont trust them and in most cases kwick fit dont understand saw tooth wear so presume its camber

take it back in 500 miles have the geo rechecked with a post printout and make sure you have a full tank

if it s fine great but i dont trust those buggers

Well luckily or otherwise the training guy from the equipment manufacturer was there and my car was also a guniea pig. Only half a tank of fuel though.

I'll keep an eye on it.
