Hello everyone,

I'm Ben from Barnsley. On my first adventure into German cars after having a few Peugeots, Vauxhall and Nissan.

The time has come for me to have a stint at being a people carrier driver.

I'm 30 odd with 18 month old twins.

So I've bought a 02 reg SEAT Alhambra.

Some pics here:

It's done 170k with FSH and 12 month MOT. I bought this with some change left over after selling my 53 Reg MGTF (The-T-Bar MGF & MG TF Owners Forum - - Topic: Bogey - Progress Thread (1/12) (http://www.the-t-bar.com/forum/9-mgf-tf-pitstop/87685-bogey-progress-thread?limitstart=0)).

It's not mint but so far so good I've done about 200 mile in it.

I will start posting some questions in the right area hopefully.

Hope this is a friendly place and I can meet some other like minded folk / local experts to help me in troublesome times. I'm pretty good with spanners once I get used to what I'm working with.

Overall so far I think the build quality is the best out of any car I've owned so I may be a convert to VAG cars.
