hi guys,
Went on a weekend away on friday, left the car parked until sunday and it wouldnt start. Called out the green flag and checked the belts and undid an injector and it was squirting fuel so he gave it lots of easy start and after quitea bit of 'sniff' it ran on its own. Journey home 130 miles was fine ( didnt dare switch engine off) Parked it up for a few hours when home then it struggled to start again.
This morning it wouldt start and I had to use the mother in laws car. Voltage gauge on car seems to show voltage changes for glow plug operation and can hear relay clicking.
No bubbles in fuel pipe, squirts fuel when injector is undone. Car runs fine when its started. Anyone got any ideas? I will be getting a fault code reader tonight but I have a feeling it wont throw any codes.
I need help I am, having to drive a suzuki alto!!

Most likely worn pump or advanced/retarded timing. What's the mileage on the car ? If you're saying there were no air bubbles in the fuel then that will discount fuel draining back to the tank. If you get it started again then you can bring it to London so i could have a look- i have a couple of injector pumps in good working order so i could get you mobile again pretty quick ! Call me on 07789912128 if you need more info. Regards,
Chris.

Ok, thanks for the advice. It has done 134,000. I am not sure what to do at the moment apart from buy some easy start...
Lets see if the fault reader picks anything up.

I have tried two different fault code readers, both are OBDII and neither will 'talk' to the car. Does anyone know if I need a special diagnostics reader for this?
