Hey guys before I go on with the issue my car is a 55 plate 2.0 TDI Passat (Manual), Engine Code BKP.

Basically Im on the verge of getting a used engine fitted to my car as my previous engine's cylinder head had a crack that was beyond repairable according to the specialist. Anyways the problem is, one of the injectors was in a way damaged/blown as it was leaking fuel inside the engine plus the oil tank. I currently have 1 used injector that I bought from a garage which only cost me £75 plus 3 injectors from my previous engine. The mechanic advised me to get them tested as it could damage the engine if they are faulty.

Anyways I have tried many injector specialist to get them tested but none of them have the machine to do it. They advised me to go to the dealer to see if they can do anything. Im going to my local dealer tomorrow to find out.

My question is, is there any company out there that can do these injectors? If possible in London or nearby places.

Just for info; my injectors were changed by my local dealer for free because of the recall.

you will struggle to find a bench test so my advise is to buy new injectors as the repair suggestion from the indi sounds good but when the cylinder head has bore wear around the injector seats it also means the injector seating will be damaged so

fit a new head and injectors to prevent a reoccurring issue

Sorry I've realised I wasnt really clear on my first post, I have already bought a bare used engine. Paid £850 for it. Fitting is mostly done, mechanics waiting on the injectors.

Whats your thoughts about buying used ones? Will they geniuenly be ok? I found quite few for under £100 each where's the new ones are £350+ each.

I have fitted used injectors with no issue just make sure you replace the two injector bolts as they are stretch bolts and the injector O rings.... hope all goes well
