Car : Audi a4 2.0tfsi special edition 220bhp owned since new...95k longlife mileage. BUL engine code I think.

As I came off the motorway heading to work, oil pressure warning came on, stopped car within about a mile....no smoke or bangs.
Engine oil was low...topped up and drove home 17 miles around 50mph. Normal engine running and no warning light.

Dropped it off at indy mechanics who has stripped the engine down to find oil pump chain has snapped and done some damage to the protective chain plate and the cog(s).

Whats the cheapest fix for me as I was about to sell the car shortly before this happened and don't want to be throwing good money into a car I wont be keeping?

My indy is going to send to a engineering company to see if they can convert to gear system but seems an expensive option...I done some googling and
Powermax engineering seem to be selling some repair kits, but not sure if they are only for the tdi's?

Majority of seen damage seems to be the snapped chain and the first sprocket/cog in the pictures. See pics.
