Drivers side electric window packed up

I wonder if someone could give me some advice my drivers window on my Audi Cabriolet has decided only to work once in awhile..


I don't think it's the switch as when I use the switch on the centre console the other 3 windows go up and down and the drivers window still doesn't work and it also doesn't work when using the switch on the drivers door panel.


I just wondered if it could be a relay and but the thing is why wouldn't it affect the other 3 windows also I've had a quick look at the relay and it's numbered 343 and not the usual 363 or 367 so could I use the later relay if it was the relay


Also when I press the the electric window button I can hear a click coming from the relay

Mine gone one step further in that you can hear the cables graunching on the regulator. If yours was smooth when it was working and doesn't work on either the large or small switch and you can hear it clicking i'd suspect the motor brushes have worn right down. At least you can change just the motor on these. and much easier than my 3 hour job to replace the regulator in the door...
