Hi, I'm having a problem with my 2005 Audi A3 3.2 Quattro. Diagnostic is throwing up fault code P0300 and 2 other cam shaft related fault codes.
It's misfiring when it gets hot at idle.
Checked coil packs and plugs and they seem to be ok.
Also changed cam shaft sensor as well and this seemed to make no difference.
Can anyone help or suggest anything please?!
Thanks in advance!

Welcome to VWAF :)

A full list of the codes would assist more than just saying "2 other cam shaft related fault codes"

Do you have the rest of the codes?

Hi, thanks for your prompt reply! I don't know why I didn't write them all down! I did write down p1347 which relates to the cam sensor or shaft, mentioned something about upper and lower limits???

P1347 (see here (http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/17755/P1347/004935)) points towards timing issues which correlates with the misfire but just like your A3, we're not quite firing on all cylinders until you supply all the codes ;)

Run another auto scan and post the results here.
