Morning
Can anyone tell me if it is possible to stream music from your iPhone on a a brand new a4 black edition with the standard b&o music system, the car doesn't have the sat nav.
Hope the answer is yes as just changing phones at work to 5s so assuming the glove box cable will not fit now.
Cheers

I've got an A4 Black Edition Avant on a 62 plate, I can't use bluetooth to stream music from my iphone to the MMI. Luckily I have an old iPod classic which I use through an AMI ipod cable in the glove box. It seems a little tight that you pay that much for a car and you can only connect your phone to make calls.
My wifes Renault Megane had better connectivity in a car half the price!
Look at this device, I don't have one but I have heard that it works OK. Google: ViseeO Tune2Air WMA1000

Think I will look into that as I will need to buy an adaptor to swap over the cradle to the new iPhone 5s so might as well kill 2 birds with one stone so to speak.
cheers

Note the Audi AMI input does not support the Apple lightning interface yet that I know of. I just have a cigarette lighter charger to lightning lead in the arm rest. You may be able to use an Apple, lightning to the old style 30 pin adaptor to get into the AMI input. I don't know if the commands into the 30 pin are translated across to the lightning port regarding album, artist, etc selection from the MMI screen
It depends how you want to use your phone.
Post how you get on, it might help other members.

The lightning adapter works fine in relation to track names, artist, albums etc.

I will do mate, but I am thinking of getting the ViseeO so I can stream the music and avoid the 30 pin to lightening connector adaptor. The adaptor is £25 and the Viseeo is £60.
Will keep you you all posted.
