I've been looking at getting a parrot but not sure whether to get one. Has anyone got one? and is it worth getting one?

ive got a 3100 kit and its ok but every now and then i loose my radio for a second,I have no idea if tis the parrot kit thats causing this but calls are clear it auto connects to my phone when I get in the car but it only supports 1 phone at a time so if my mrs is in the car her phone tends to connect first , have heard good reports for the motorola kit that is cheaper and streams music via bluetooth so maybe you should google some reviews for that one. But overall I am happy enough with it and you can get a loom to work with the steering wheel controls

I fit them... Amongst other units, trackers etc...
Parrot CK 3100 one of the best basic units on the market, has remained mostly unchanged since its launch because it hasn't needed any changes.
Parrot MKi Range, avoid like the plague. They look good but it can take several seconds from when you press the answer call button to when the command is actually carried out and the call is answered. You can miss lots of calls because of the delay. Music not too brilliant either. I have removed more of these recently rather than I have fitted them. That tells a story in itself. It relies on a bluetooth connection for the operation of the control wheel via a watch battery which doesn't have a great life span.
Motorola TK30 great unit, cheap but not too powerful on the music streaming and a bulky screen which can be difficult to place on some vehicles dashboards.
The one I would fit if I didn't have the Audi Factory kit on the RNSE would be the IO Play... It is compact, has its own amp and the sound quality is very good indeed. Calls are clear too. Not the cheapest but the one I would chose, and I am fitting on average 12 per month.
Can put you in touch with one of the guys I work with up your way if you are not into fitting the kit yourself...
