Fog light problem mot failed

2007 4motion 2.00 sport has failed MOT on rear fog light, bulb & fuse ok, light shows up on speedo dial ok when turned on, but rear lamp refuses to work, everything else passed MOT no problem. Has anyone out there had this problem ? would appreciate any feedback. WT

have you tried another bulb ? if so, have you got 12 at the bulbholder.
