Projector lights low

Hello,

I bought my B5 A4 about 6 years ago. I've always noticed that the headlight beams are very low on the road. Its passed all it's MOTs in the past and I assume headlight beams are checked during MOT inspection.

Just wondered if anyone else has the same issue?

I.M.O. The testers would be happy with beams set too low as they do not dazzle oncoming drivers while you are on dipped beams.
You could get your beams set by a garage with a beam setter to a higher level if there is scope for this, without being too high to dazzle oncoming drivers.

This may be an obvious question but die yours have the headlight adjustment switch on the dashboard? Just thought it might be worth pointing this out in case you'd missed it.

Hello, yes I have the adjustment switch which is set to 0. The lights are set to their highest point. Its going in for an MOT and service this morning so maybe I'll mention it to them. Thank s for your replies.
