I swear...
right, do this morning, coolant light comes on, pretty dark, so just topped it up, mrs went off, so I checked it and there was coolant and crap everywhere at the front of the engine bay, over the pulleys etc.
It had the right inlet manifold replaced recently, and it's certainly around the right hand side it's leaking.
Ran it up to a local Vag specialist who pressure tested it, and couldn't spot anything obvious as it held pressure. He agreed somewhere I the right bank is the culprit and put it down to the fact that maybe the refit of the manifold wasn't done properly and a connector or pipe has been put back incorrectly, causing the leak?
does this sound possible?
Ive read about EGR coolers causing issues, if this was faulty, would the system hold it's pressure still, and would leaks be visible?
