Hi all. In The last week my rear brake warning light keeps popping on and beeping at me. It may do it once on a journey or sometimes it will beep 8 - 9 times all at random. The bulbs are all fine and i cant work out what the problem could be. Any ideas

I had similar problems with my old 407 coz they used an earth wire slightly thinner than a human hair. I had to connect a new earth from the car body to the main metal part of the bulb holder. Solved it for me on that car.
Hope this helps.

I had similar and it turned out to be the bulb was rubbish and not tight in the holder

Checked them and they all look fine. Rubbed them a bit to make sure the contacts were good.
Looked in the boot well and there is a box for the central locking vacum pump and where it was sitting was really wet and the foam it sits in was drenched. So i have took it all out and left to air. Hopefully its just the damp air causing kaos with that little box thingy

Well it must be that vacum pump/electronic box that must be the cause of random warning lights on the dash. I dried it out and sprayed contact ol over the connections and it hasnt warned me since. Fingers crossed
