Dipped Headlight not working.

Dear All my n/s front headlight dipped bulb has stopped working. Is there a fuse I need to check for, or is it simply the bulb thats failed?

Probably just the bulb, if you change it now sods law means that the other side will go soon :p

just had a beetle in, dips not working. owner says its deffo the switch or fuse, possibly engine or roof, maybe boot lid, anything but bulbs. 2 new bulbs and off we go again, everything working. well, apart from his wipers that won't turn off but its raining so no problem.

Dodgy bulb, now replaced. Thanks!!!. Has anyone replaced bulbs with the dsg box?. I could not get my fat fingers in. Bumper off job and headlight out :-(.

On my A3 at least I found it easier going in through the splash guard, just loosen a few screws and stick yer hand in.

Taking the bumper off and headlight out is a bit extreme for a Passat! Reminds me changing the bulb on my old Megane which required bumper and headlight out :(

i had to change a sidelight bulb on a mondeo last week. no way could you get to it so out with the headlamp. undo 2 clips to loosen the grill , remove one bolt and one clip and remove headlight. sorry, fords are not my cup of tea but when it comes to bulb replacement they have vags licked.

Could anyone tell me how to locate and secure the new main headlamp bulbs on my 07. 2.0 tdi passat
im at a loss to see how to do it as it's not visible and I'm having to do it by touch
wife reckens that's the problem
