brake lights

My wifes 52 passat tdi estates brake lights keep staying on and the glow plug warning light and a triangle in a circle light also keeps lighting up on the dash, are these all related and what could be the cause? Thanks in advance:confused:

A code read would help but it sounds like you need a new brake switch.
