Has anyone had this problem with the air con, mine was not working so i took it to a mate who is a qualified air con engineer, he drained the system and weighed the gas, 600 grams, this is the correct amount so it was put back in the system, when we tried the a/c it worked, down to 4c, my mate suspected the pressure switch had stuck and because of gas removal and replacement it started to work again, any comments?, all ideas gratefully received.

Refridgerant is type R134a following european environmental laws. The full charge level is 600 grams by weight.

The G65 sensor monitors coolant pressure and triggers the condenser fan once a threshold is reached. If it's reporting the wrong pressure the fan may never kick in resulting in no aircon. But if you drive say above 80kph there is sufficient airflow to allow the refrigerant to liquefy and the aircon works
