Does anyone know which gateways can be interchanged with a 3c0 907 530c as I have upgraded the radio to an rcd310 and have battery drain

Erm, I meant your local VW dealership's spares department.

There's only an "E" version on e-bait at the moment at £45. Some say that's alright
but I believe it's down to what software revision it's got -- should be a 0048

Not seen them with a printed sticker for the code before
The "F" revision ones I've seen were by TMEC and had the part # written on the case

Just tried the link I had for the Taiwanese "Q" version and e-bait comes back with "item no longer available"

If you've got access to vcds you can buy 2nd hand and recode the gateway. If you've got a good breaker nearby give them a call and see if they've got any 2007 or later passats in (the later the better). Chances are they won't have removed it from the car as they don't have much call for it.

Got mine for £15 this way and took about 30 mins to fit and code 😀
