I have an Audi A3 2.0tdi quattro
Had a coolant leak yesterday of the radiator offside connector but since have found that my reverse lights/sensors wouldn't work, have checked the fuses and it's a 5 amp fuse so have replaced today reverse worked then on second attempt blew the fuse again,
Where should i start as looking at the wiring diagram it controls many things such as heating/air con (both of which are switched off) esp, reversing light switch,
if the reversing light switch was faulty would this cause the fuse to blow?
Any help/advice is much appreciated,
Cheers

The reason a fuse blows is because too much current is going through it.
Best thing to do is get a new fuse in there, get a multimeter to it, measure the current going through the wire with your car not in reverse and then put it into reverse and see if the current draw goes above 5.. if it does then there is a chance that your bulb is faulty and is drawing way too much current.. if you dont have a multimeter... take the bulb(s) out for the reverse light and see if it blows.. if your car has aftermarket or maybe even a malfunctioning parking sensors, this could also be the cause

Thanks for for your advise I disconnected the reverse switch and fuse remained intact, I did however have a coolant leak last night and I found the air con sensor the be drenched, I dried it off and the fuse seems to remain operable,
thanks again tho
