Hello Avant drivers,

I am a watersports enthusiast as well as a careful driver (!). I'm looking for a waterproof boot liner so that I don't end up with dripping wet boot carpet every time I load up the car with wet gears.

I use one of those plastic garden bucket for wetsuit and other gears, but sometimes the water make its way to the boot carpet...I think it's time to invest on those heavy duty waterproof / slip proof boot liner.

Currently looking at eBay, the boot liner with lips (1.6 inches, I like that idea) cost £25-35. They all looks the same, and I'm not sure how true they are in terms of "waterproof". Are they really waterproof or does it leak slightly over time? I don't want to risk this.

Does anyone have good experience buying £25-35 boot liner from eBay, or can anyone recommend any other source for a good quality waterproof liner, please?

As always, I am thankful for your help.

Thank you!

I got one of these from eBay:

http://i.ebayimg.com/t/BOOT-LINER-MAT-TRAY-AUDI-A4-B5-1994-2001-ESTATE-AVANT-/00/s/NjAwWDYwMA==/$(KGrHqN,!o0FC1s1dqNUBQ3JJsWUPQ~~60_12.JPG

£24.00 from Poland. Got it in a week. cheap but thick plastic, doesn't smell bad. Seems to retain water well and doesn't looks like it seeps through. But the rubber is hard and the ridges are quite shallow and undefined so it's slippery as 3!7ch's mouth!!

Little money well spent, I think! There was another one, an "exclusive" mat for £37 or something...probably same material but slightly better made.
