I have for the past 3 weeks been trying to sell my 2005 Audi, i have used Preloved, Birmingham Gumtree and Autotrader, what a nightmare!!!, i have had numerous phone call from people who are obviously foreign trying to knock me down to pennies without even seeing the car and 2 Emails from pfissing (?) using a paypal scam where they agree to the price, get you to apply for the funds from their paypal account, you then get a message from paypal saying the funds plus an extra £800 are in your paypal account, the extra is so you can forward the money to a shipping agent who will collect the car, luckily i checked my paypal account and there was nothing in it, i contacted paypal and thay said it was a con and to ignore it, 2 days later i got another Email off these con artists saying as i have not forwarded the money and supplied no details of where the car is kept legal action has been taken against me, paypal again said ignore it, i am not the first it has happened to so any one out there who is selling a car BEWARE!!!!,ps..its still for sale if anyone's interested.

A lot of smarties out there mate.I`m selling my Superb on 53 plate which genuinly done less than 4,000 miles and advertised honestly that its a cat D and the paint work on bonnet and bumper could do with repainting etc. and had an offer £1100 less than asking price.I was tempted top include a message go have yourself declining the offer. So I do know where you coming from but no paypal my cars, its the old cash on collection.
