I have had a 2.0 tfsi Avant se for 5 years now bought with 54,000 miles on the clock. Apart from some coil pack issues in the first few weeks of ownership and replacing the turbo diverter valve it has been a good car. It now has 93,000 miles on it and was wondering if as it gets closer to the 100,000 mark is there anything different to the servicing to help maintain its health I can do? It has a full Audi service history including the mot cover and is on the time service regime not longlife. I really fancy a B8 S4 but hard to justify when there is nothing wrong with this one.The 2.0 seems to a good blend of performance and economy also.
Thanks

Maybe as a precaution but maybe not that necessary could be bring the oil changes down to every 5k instead of 10k .. Haven't owned a petrol car before but I do know they don't take to high mileages like diesels do.

good to know you've reached 90k plus.
I'm on 62k on a 2006 saloon....Full history - part Audi, part indy.
touch wood, I've not done anything beyond normal maintenance. Mine is also on time service but my annual mileage is only around 6k.
I had to replace front discs and pads but went for Mintex and it feels like they've warped, and my last MOT pulled my rear discs as advisories. So come service time in February, I'll get rear discs and pads.
I'm toying with idea of replacing car so not sure if I'll do the fronts.
Mine has also been mapped for something like 3.5years.
My biggest fear is the clutch/gearbox. I've no real reason to think either or both will fail....but the cost would be scary....Audi quote £900plus for clutch on mine. (Quattro model.)

Darich, surprised you had to replace discs. Unless my cars were replaced before I bought it I'm still on the originals! Every time Audi do the service or MOT I think are they going to mention the lip on the discs? They havn't yet. On the last mot they mentioned a few bits on the front suspension beginning to perish and a small oil leak from the back of the engine. I'm not using any oil though. I have changed pads. Had issues with after market ones (bad rattling)so went back to Audi ones. They did mention the clutch about 2 years ago saying it was stiff! It didn't feel stiff to me and is still going strong (touch wood).

I suppose it depends on your type/style of driving.
I only do 5-6k miles a year and about 80% is on motorway so I'll rarely brake for many miles.
