Hello to all. New to site due to searching for help. First time.audi owner! Have the emissions light on the dash and fault code reading saying p1070. Heat sensor issue i believe. Anyone know what part needs replacing or had this code pop up. Possible prob? Thanks in advance

You really need a scan with VCDS ,as far as I can see you need a nox sensor. You'll have small change out of €600.00 if that's what it is as it's a dealer only part

Thanks for that. Nox o3c sensor and control unit perhaps but if not would it be anything else?

Look here for someone close to you with VCDS, VWAF User Location Map - VCDS - Google Maps (https://maps.google.co.uk/maps/ms?msid=209563024277134815192.0004c505be14b22419db e&msa=0&ll=56.231139,-2.779541&spn=3.493691,10.821533&iwloc=0004c505cfcb6158e0447) A6_Chris will send them a PM for you you really need the scan done generic scanners tend to miss stuff and/or misread VAG cars.

His brother Bought by mistake apparently. Was still in bag and box. Thoughts of buying another at full price makes me a little ill! had a slight intermittent shudder when idleling that I thought it might cure but no! Any ideas whats causing the shudder? Cheers.

Do the part numbers match?

Yeah part numbers match alright. But the shudder hasn't changed since new part put in. Its no different than it was with old part. No fault showing up so I dunno if this is normal with fsi engines?

Just an update on the fitted part. No fault coming up on dash so seems like it was correct part. Still gettin an intermittent shudder when idling though.
