Morning all,

Apologies if this has been asked / resolved already on here. Did a search but couldn't find quite what I'm after.

My wife's S3 is new to us and ever since we've had it the DIS on the dashboard defaults to showing the navigation display despite the fact she never uses the sat nav. We'd much prefer it to show the "trip computer" display (i.e. speed, mpg, distance remaining in fuel etc). The handbook implies that this is the default screen but no matter how many times I select it the system goes back to showing the navigation display the next time we start it up (or at least the next time after a reasonable break - it stays on the right screen after filling with fuel etc).


Not exactly life-threatening disaster I grant but irritating and was hoping someone knew how to fix it.

Turn the compass off on the satnav (press nav, setup, scroll down and turn compass off) and from there it won't display on the dis until you set a route.

If you do set a route you can change between menus on the dis by pressing the reset button on the bottom of the wiper stalk.
