So I've seen a few videos of A7s and I think A6s where the front DRL LEDs are strobing... how is that done. Is it related to some launch control thing in the A7?
Just interested cos it looks WAY cool :)

They're not strobing, it's the refresh rate, lens etc on the camera picking up the LEDs hence the effect. They don't actually do this! ;)
From memory if you watch the old top gear episode when they take the ford gt, pagani zonda and Ferrari 430 to the south of France to that bridge you'll see a scene where the effect can be seen on the rear of the ford gt.

Ahh ok that explains it, shame cos it would be cool as part of the hazard warning light.

if you watch Top Gear you seen this all the time on the cars they are honing around it.. as above it's just the out of sync rates between the camera and light
