Hi,

Can you have multiple mobile phones that automatically connect via bluetooth?

If both myself and the wife are in the car at the same time, I find mine auto-connects but my wife's phone doesn't. It's bonded, and listed, but I need to select it from the Bluetooth menu each time to tell the car to connect to it. Two then seem quite happy together.

I've checked her phone looking for a 'automatically connect each time' prompt when connecting but there doesn't seem to be one. It's a Nokia 800.

If someone can tell me theirs does this, I'll keep looking for the solution - or am I asking the car to do something it can't?

cheers.

Are they both connecting for phone and not one just for phone and one for bluetooth music?

I don't think so.. You can 'register' multiple phones with the car but I suspect it only allows one to actually be connected for in car 'speakerphone' call stuff. Not quite sure how it works out which phone to connect... on my allroad I just take either my work or personal phone so that is not an issue, but in my wifes A1 it's a mystery to me whether it pick my phone or hers.
