02 a4 3.0 fuel filter change

I'm trying to change the filter and I cant figure out how to remove the lines. Do they pry off? This filter has only a single line in and one out. I looked at a youtube video that showed a double line filter but the lines dont seem to come off the same way. I'm worried about breaking it. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

What sort of clip fastens the line to the filter? Once those are released, a fine flat screwdriver gently worked around between the pipe and the tube does it for me.

Thats the thing. I cant see any clip on it. The youtube video says to pinch the back of the connection but mine is hard plastic. There looks to be some sort of release on the leading edge of the connector but I cant tell how to release it. I tried to pry gently with a screwdriver but I'm afraid it will break.

I would only be guessing if I offered any advice, because I'm not familiar with that type. Hopefully someone else will have the answer soon.
