As above looking like the usual gearbox ecu problem  What's the labour cost of remove and refit it roughly as my plan is to get ECU testing to repair it. Many thanks ( cars a 1.8t auto)

I have had some very bad experiences with repaired Multichronic ECU's from various companies so now I will only fit new genuine units. They take around 2 hours to swap and then another hour or so to fill and level set the oil. Their lifetime warranty probably does not include the labour and 8 litres of CVT fluid each time you remove it, a genuine Audi unit does.
