Spurred on by Passatier3's start sequence, mine is roughly the same.
Lock front door of house
Blip open boot to put laptop in.
Blip open car as first blip only activates boot.
Clear back windscreen by hand so that I can see to reverse.
Clear door mirrors as heating will take too long.
Open door, wondering what to do with the keys now that there is no ignition switch(multitasking).
Put keys where I had decided in last item.
Push Start Button
Turn radio to max to wake everyone in the street who is STILL in bed.
Switch engine off to get out of the car to check whether I have locked the front door.
Restart sequence including opening boot to make sure that I have put laptop charger in with laptop.
Reverse out of drive.
Put into first and drive away.
Perhaps it's time to retire.

:D Yeah, I have to do the checking the front door thing as well! Even had to drive back to the house to check - definitely time to retire!
Just had to move the car to get into the garage and thought I'd be brave. Pressed the start button, didn't wait for the screen to come fully out (that's one brave bit) and put into R. Foot off brake and onto throttle without releasing the parking brake (that's the other brave bit). Got that raising/dipping sensation that you get when the parking brake hasn't released and message on DIS saying Please Release Parking Brake.
This car's magic, it's even learned when I've strayed away from my usual starting sequence!
On the odd occasions I have used the parking brake once driving (well stopped whilst driving :D) it's released fine but usually don't bother with it as the Autohold does the job fine.
My Passat DSG used to do this not releasing the parking brake thing when parked at home or work which is why I always do it manually before setting off. Anyway, godamnit, I want to do something for myself with this car! :D
Just looked out the window and it's smirking at me or thinking silly old s@d!

Huh, You've got it easy! :D
I have to move the car away from the garage and onto the road first - so have to go through that start up sequence. Get my bike out, put car back in front of garage start up sequence again), go back in house, put riding gear on and back out to the bike. :D
And then when I return home on bike.....................!

Triumph Tiger 1050, Thunderbird Sport and Mk. 1 Speed Triple and a CCM 644ds super moto/trail bike. Had a Suzuki GSX1400 which was a great bike but wanted something more retro so sold it to get the Thunderbird Sport.
