I'm in search of a bootliner for my A6 saloon. Rubber is fine, unless I can find a reversible that's not too expensive.

There's also the one from Audi catalogue at £110 (option 6SJ, Reversible luggage compartment mat (fabric/rubber). Velour on one side, rubber on the other, folds out to cover the luggage compartment), which I believe can be bought after the car has been built.

I can't access ebay right now.

I have a semi-rigid 'liner in both my cars, seem to do the job well and a quick powerwash rids it of any dirt.

Both Audi OEM.

From my searches, it seems I found the same directly from the website, but more expensive than ebay.

I have tidied up the garage today, and put so many layers of old clothes in the car to take junk to the tip that I thought I really should't wait anymore before I get a bootliner.

OK, so I ordered a bootliner from ebay, received within a few days (ordered 20th, received 25th, which is not bad considering 21/22 is a week end)

Two things are not as they should be... first the fit around the boot and the protruding spaces is OK for the rubber mat, but not as exact on the carpet mat, although it's not out by much. Will take another pic to demosntrate taht.

Second, in the middle of the rubber mat is a fold, and that's struggling to come flush with the boot itself. I think / hope that will be sorted when the weather gets warmer. Couldn't be bothered to use a hardryer!

You can see both issues on the pic, fitting on the left, gap right in the middle (which I think has got better since I took the pic). Note for the latter that due to the shape and pressure the mat will experience it should only get better with time, not worse.

Looks good, the one in my A3 was folded and took a while to get its correct bearings in hue he boot, fits like a tee now.

What's the difference between a boot liner and a load liner? Sounds like they should be the same thing...
