As title, has anyone used one? Good/bad? Can't seem to find any remaps for the new 3.0TDI (245PS) plus remap would obviously invalidate the warranty having to bust open the ECU.

Hi, just about to buy one, taken a year to decide and still a little unsure but going to give it a go. Lots of info around and they do seem to have excellent reviews. Andrew gets back very quickly if you want info etc, seems customer service is first class.

Some people say that they would not touch a tuning box but don't back it up with anything useful.

Hope that helps a little.

Cheers

Yes I have had one fitted for almost a year now and its great. I had to fiddle with all the maps but finally decided map 1 plus 20% is the best for my car. Its a 2.0Tdi 143 A4.

Do you just remove it prior to taking car in for service etc? I have gone for the 5 year warranty on my new car and obviously don't want to invalidate it.

Yes, once you get used to fitting it, you can fit or remove in under 5 mins.

I removed mine Thursday and left my car in on Friday for a service.
Refitted it today and all good.

Have you seen any economy improvement? Was thinking seriously about a remap but in the end didn't like the idea of having to
remove the ECU as it's EDC17. A4 2010 2.0TDI 143.

Mine is the same model and same year. Yes I average around an extra 6-8 mpg daily

Wow. On a 2-hour motorway run I can currently get 54 mpg for the trip if I really nurse it. Do you think I would improve on that with the box?

Motorway runs I generally get high 50's pushing it on slightly
