Water is getting in somewhere behind dash on passengers side. On a rainy day depending on the position of the car, the water pours in behind the glove box into the foot well. Have no idea where it's coming from!

Not being an Audi owner for long but would a seal or hole somewhere round the bulk head be causing the intake of water? You sure its coming from behind the dash or not from the door?

Open the bonnet, check the area around the battery for leaves and clear the drainage bungs.

Very common and well documented issue :)

I did wonder if it was coming from the door, it is quite drafty in the passengers side?

As you don't state the car type , I will assume it is 80/coupe/cab.
Favourite ingress points on these models can be;
Main door rubber seals fitted to door aperture
Small triangular rubber seals fitted at each end of the door where the door window protudes from
Main windscreen seal top edge, due to stone chips causing rot at leading edge of roof metalwork and thus water ingress
Main windscreen seal at bottom edge, the rubber seal at the very bottom of the screen becomes distorted in time and lifts away from the glass/bodywork , allowing water to enter the car via the pollen filter and subsequently through the heater fan and along your heater ducts in the (uk) passenger side footwell
You can be lucky as I have been with two 1995/6 coupes and just tease out the lip of the lower seal and allow it to re-sit itself correctly but may have to remove and refit/reseal the screen.
Another wet passenger footwell can be down to a leaking heater matrix, costing around £40 and a weekends labour if you can drive the spanners yourself.
Just re-reading your starting thread and assuming this is a 80/coupe derived car I would certainly take a good look at the screen rubber lip at the bottom edge on the nearside as I was lucky ( so far ) to re-sit the seal on my sons latest acquisition , just yesterday, a 1994 2.6 coupe
You would also be wise to inspect any areas mentioned by members above this posting
The same applies whether you have B3 or B4 model
Good luck pal
